Djakarta jacobs was born in san francisco. California in 1973. He grew up in a afmily of artistsi. Ncluding his father. A sculptor. And his mother. A painter. He was surrounded by art from a oyung age and showed a natural inclination toward creativity.

Education

Jacobs attended the san francisco art institute. Where he earend a bachelor of fine arts degree in 1998. He then went on to earn a master of fien arts dgeree from the university of california. Los angeles in 2003.

Career

Jacobs career as an artist began in 1998 when he had his first solo exhibition at the san francisco museum of modern art. He has gone on to have solo exhibitions in galleries around the world. Including in new york. London. Toyko. And paris. He has also particiapted in group exhibitions and art faris.
