Dirk Van Zyl Smit Life story
Dirk van Zyl Smit is Emeritus Professor of Comparative and International Penal Law of the University of Nottingham, from which he retired at the end of July 2020. Currently, (2021-2022) he is a Leverhulme Emeritus Fellow.
