Dewey Brown Life story
Dewey Brown Sr. was the first known African-American member of the Professional Golfers' Association of America, and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Brown became a member of the PGA in 1928, and the GCSAA in 1957, after having worked as a caddie in New Jersey.
