Denis Law CBE is a Scottish former footballer who played as a forward. His career as a football player began at Second Division Huddersfield Town in 1956. After four years at Huddersfield, he was signed by Manchester City for an estimated transfer fee of £55,000, which set a new British record.

Princess Anne awarded the honorary title of Camilla in Aberdeen

Princess Anne was awarded an honorary doctorate by The Duchess of Rothesay to the University of Aberdeen.

The Princess Royal was conferred with the degree of sister-in-law Camilla in her role as University Registrar.

Princess Anne was nominated by the University for the honour in recognition of her charity work.

Camilla is known as Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland , said she was not sure whether it was "a collective term for the Chancellor ", as Princess Anne is Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh.

'Genuine honour'

"But I could only observe in passing that, while we celebrate our 525th birthday next month, the University of Edinburgh is relatively young - a mere 437 years old. "
