Demetra Messala

Demetra Messala was the daughter of a Greek diplomat in Paris. She was a model for Aristide Maillol and Pablo Picasso. In Paris she met Arno Breker and in 1933 he made a sculpture of her. After she stopped her modelling career she became an art dealer. In 1934 she moved with Breker to Germany.
