David Rathband Life story
Rathband, the police officer who was shot by Moat was found dead in his home in Blythe February 2012 at the age of 44, 20 months after he was injured while on duty. A coroner went on to rule that the late police officer had killed himself because he couldn't cope with his new disability and a breakdown in his marriage.
