Dauphin Francis II Life story
King Francis (originally Prince Francis) was The Dauphin of France, later ascending to the throne as King Francis II after his father, King Henry II died. Francis was the son of the late King Henry and Queen Catherine. He married Queen Mary of Scotland, to whom he had been betrothed to since they were children.
