Mezzo-soprano Daphne Evangelatos passed away at the age of 78 on Nov. 18, 2021. Evangelatos was born in Athens into a family of artists. She was the daughter of composer Antiochos Evangelatos and harpist Xeni Bourexaki-Evangelatos as well as the sister of director and academic Spyros Evangelatos.
