About Crossbow Bolt


A quarrel or bolt is the arrow used in a crossbow. The name "quarrel" is derived from the French word carré, meaning square, referring to their typically square heads. Although their lengths vary, bolts are typically shorter than traditional arrows.

Gerald Corrigan died last may, three weeks after The Shooting in front of his house with a Crossbow Bolt

jailed A Man for at least 31 years for the murder of a retired teacher with a crossbow.

Terence Information, 39, Bryngwran, Anglesey, was found guilty of the killing of Gerald Corrigan, 74, in April 2019.

Information was given a Life Sentence at Mold Crown Court .

Mr Corrigan partner Marie Bailey told the court that she was "devastated" by his death, and was left with the "image of his heart's blood" to expire after The Shooting .
