About Cossack Hetmanate
The Cossack Hetmanate, officially known as the Zaporizhian Host, was a Cossack host in Central Ukraine between 1648 and 1764. The Hetmanate was founded by the Hetman of Zaporizhian Host Bohdan Khmelnytsky during the Uprising of 1648–57.
