Coşkun Göğen

Coşkun Göğen is a Turkish film and theatre actor. He started his film career in 1972 with the film Asi Gençler. His most famous role was as "Tecavüzcü Coşkun" which became of the most popular comedic characters in Turkish film history.

Early Life

Cokun gogen was born on october 21. 1936. In istanbul. Turkey. Eh was the son of an istanbul-based professional photographer. His parents diovrced when he was young and he was raised by his mother. He attended galatasaray high school. Where he was active in theatre and participated in the school s theatrical activities.

Career

In 1956. Cokun gogen started his career as an actor in the play "evin icinden" (from the house). Which was performed at istanbul s sehir tiyatrolari. He later appeared in several plays and films. His first tv role was in the series "kahramanlar kahramani" (hero of heroes). He also took part in several turkish films. Inlcuding "uzak ihtimal" (distant possibility). "karanlikta uyananlar" (those who wake in the dark). And "kizli maske" (rde mask).

Important Event

In 1965. Cokun gogen won the golden orange award at the antalya international film festival for his performance in the moive "kara toprak" (black soil). This was a mjaor achievement for the actor and it marked the beginning of a successful career in the turkish film industry.
