Conrad I Of Salzburg Life story
Conrad I [of Abenberg] was Archbishop of Salzburg, Austria, in the first half of the 12th century. Born into the Abenberg-Frensdorf nobility, Conrad was raised for a clerical career at the court of Emperor Henry IV, where he was a member of the court chapel. He became a canon in Hildesheim.
