Coen Hemker Life story
Hendrik Coenraad "Coen" Hemker is a Dutch biochemist and academic administrator. He was one of the founders of Maastricht University and served as its rector magnificus from 1982 to 1984. He was a professor of biochemistry from 1975 until 1999. In his research he has mainly studied thrombosis and hemostasis.
