Clifton Inglis Stockwell Life story
Clifton Inglis Stockwell CB CMG DSO was a British soldier who served as Brigadier-General of the 164th Infantry Brigade of the British Army between 1916 and 1919. In December 1914, he was a British officer who agreed to a Christmas truce football match with a German officer.
