About Classical Kemençe (Klasik Kemençe)
The classical kemenche, Armudî kemençe or Politiki lyra is a pear-shaped bowed instrument that derived from the medieval Greek byzantine lyre. It was mainly used by Greek immigrants from Asia Minor and in classical Ottoman music.
