About Chenani-Nashri Tunnel
Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel, also known the Syama Tunnel and formerly known as the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, is a road tunnel in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on NH 44. The work was started in 2011 and was inaugurated on 2 April 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
