Charles Wheeler Locke

Charles Wheeler Locke (1899-1983), painter, lithographer, illustrator and teacher, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 31, 1899. He studied at the Ohio Mechanic Institute, which became known as the Cincinnati Art Academy. Further studies were in New York at the Art Students' League with Joseph Pennell.1899-1983
