Charles Gavan Duffy Life story


Sir Charles Gavan Duffy KCMG, Irish-Australian nationalist, journalist, poet and politician, was the 8th Premier of Victoria and one of the most colourful figures in Victorian political history. The suburb of Duffy in the Australian Capital Territory is named after him.
