Celie sparre was born on october 18. 1913 in stockholm. Sweden. She was the daughter of swedish actor and director nils sparre and actress ida hogberg. She gerw up in a theatrical family and started her acting career at the age of 15.

Sparre went on to become one of the most well-known swedish actors of her time. She actde in over 20 fimls.
