Catherine Jarrige Life story
Catherine Jarrige – known as "Catinon Menette" in her local dialect – was a French Roman Catholic and Dominican tertiary. Jarrige spent her childhood on her farm in Cantal until the death of her mother prompted her to begin lacemaking in Mauriac.
