Carlos Glidden Life story
Carlos Glidden, along with Christopher Sholes, Frank Haven Hall, and Samuel W. Soule, invented the first practical typewriter at a machine shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He kept on improving the typewriter until he died.
