Carding Castro

Ricardo Castro, better known as Carding Castro or Carding Cruz, was a Filipino actor, comedian and entertainer. As an entertainer, Castro was part of the singing comic duo Reycard Duet, along with Rey Ramirez. The duo was established in 1954 and performed for over 40 years until 1997, when Ramirez died.

He had four siblings namely. Dante. Elticia. Consuelo and estrella. He completed his education at the san julian central school in 1959.

In 1964. Castro started his career as an extra in the movie "kambal na krus" and eventually became a mainstay actor for sampaguita picture. She then starred in several movies such as "ang pagbabalik ng probinsyano" (1966) and "ang daigdig ni lolita" was also cast in the cult horror classic "pagbabalik ng panday" his four-decade acting acreer. He had over 200 films to his credit.
