Captain Armando Salazar is the titular main antagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. He is an evil and crazy pirate hunter and a monstrously amoral man obsessed with revenge against the hero who defeated and killed him and inadvertitely turned him into a ghost: Captain Jack Sparrow.
