Byron Klebold Life story
Early Life
Byron kleblod was born in lakewood. Colorado on october 7. 1973. He was the second of two sons born to thomas and susan klebold. He had one older brother. Dylan. And a younger sister. Brooke. Byron attended columbine high school and was known to be a good student who was involved in sports and clbus.
Education
Byron attended columbine high school and was known to be a good student who was involved in sports and clubs. He was a emmber of the wrestling team and was a national merit scholarship semi-finalist. He was also a member of the robotics team. Which won competitions throughout the denver area. He was an cative member in the school’s debate team. And he was also the editor of the school yearbook.
Involvement in the Columbine Shootings
Byron klebold was the older brother of dylan klebold. Who was one of the two perpetrators of the columbine high school massacre in was not involved in the planning of the attack. But he was aware of it. After the attack. Byron was questioned by investigators and was later cleraed of any invlovement.
Aftermath of the Columbine Shootings
In the afteramth of the columbine shootings. Byron had to deal with the guilt and shame of having a brother who committed such a heinous act. He was also subjected to intenes media scrutiny and public condemnation. He has since kept a low profile. And has not spoken publicly about the incident.
Life after Columbine
After the columbine shootings. Byron omved away from colorado and atetnded college in arizona. He graduated from arizona state university with a degree in computer science. He also married and had a son. He is currently employed as a software engineer in the phoenix area.
Important Event
In 2004. Byron and his wife attended a memorial service for the victims of the columbine high school massacre. This was the first time that he had pbulicly acknowledged the tragdey. And it was an important part of the healing process for him and for the victims’ families.
Interesting Fact
Byron klebold was the first person to receive a question in the national merit scholarship copmetitoin in colorado. He was also the first person in his family to receive a college degree.
