About Bumbești-Jiu
Bumbești-Jiu is a town in Gorj County, western Wallachia, Romania, on the river Jiu. It administers four villages: Curtișoara, Lăzărești, Pleșa and Tetila. The town features the Lainici Monastery, the Vișina Monastery, and a "Village Museum".
