To sell British Airways art collection to raise cash

British Airways sold some of his multi-million-pound art collection to raise cash to help him through the Corona-Virus-pandemic.

The Collection includes art by Damien Hirst , Bridget Riley and Peter Doig , with a thesis were assumed, a value of More Than £1m.

It is understood that a minimum of 10 pieces have been identified For Sale , although exactly what is unclear.

BA has seen a collapse of air travel and cut thousands of jobs.

last week, BA chief Alex Cruz warned that the cash-strapped Airline 's survival was At Stake unless it was a drastic restructuring of the company.

London Evening Standard newspaper, said Auction House Sotheby's brought in to arrange the sales as soon as possible.

Other works in the BA's collection to find works from Tracey Emin , Anish Kapoor and Chris Ofili . The Airline would not comment on the sale, see what works go under The Hammer .

But The Most important piece is probably from Bridget Riley , and is worth, according to a source, "at least seven figures". It was in BA's possession for More Than 30 years, the value is increasing significantly since the purchase.
