Sir Brian Wellingham Windeyer KBE, FRCS was Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School, University of London, from 1942 to 1969, Dean of school from 1954 to 1967 and Vice-Chancellor of the University of London from 1969 to 1972.
