An unseen intruder attacks Egyptologist Abel Trelawny (Lloyd Bochner), sending him to the hospital in a coma. His daughter, Margaret (Amy Locane), is distraught and turns to an old boyfriend, Robert Wyatt (Eric Lutes), for help. Robert and Margaret discover evidence among Trelawny's belongings indicating that a curse was placed on him, decades ago, when he stole a rare jewel from an Egyptian tomb.
