Former singer and war veteran Dixon Harper (Robert Stanton) makes a blind date with Susan Parker (Lynn Merrick), a jukebox operator and aspiring singer, and then arranges an impromptu nightclub performance. The duo is a surprise success, attracting swindler Hubert Fransworth (Thurston Hall), who helps the couple win a spot on a popular radio show.
