Penygroes swastika: police CCTV image of man wanted

, the police has released a CCTV image of A Man they want to speak, painted in conjunction with a hook, cross dog on a Black Family 's garage door.

Margaret Ogunbanwo, of Penygroes, Caernarfon, discovered the vandalism on Saturday Morning .

she decided to Leave It as a reminder of why Black Lives happen Affairs protests.

North Wales police are treating The Incident as a Hate Crime and appealed for Witnesses .

Inspector Jon Aspinall said: "In a time when racism is in the headlines, it is not acceptable for the members of our community are targeted in this way.

"We treat all Hate Crime very seriously, and if anyone can help us, this person, it would be greatly appreciated. "

Margaret Ogunbanwo found the offensive graffiti on your garage door

Speaking on BBC Wales on Saturday, mother-of-two-Mrs Ogunbanwo, who has lived in the Region for 13 years, said she believed that she and her family was targeted because they are black.

She Said her first thought when she saw the swastika was "should I be afraid?"

"I thought, 'oh, no, to feel if someone on this type, maybe I'll go to be sure'," She Said .

she decided not to erase the graffiti, and believes that it serves as a reminder of "the importance of Black Lives matter".

"I'll have the thing Up There and let me see my village," She Said .

"If we make it to wash away, it's like it's not going to happen really, and I want people to remember it".
