Billy Spurdle Life story
William Spurdle was a Guernsey-born footballer who played as a wing half. He scored 63 goals in 381 league appearances in a 16-year professional career in the Football League. He started his career with Oldham Athletic in 1947, before making a £12,000 move to Manchester City two years later.
