Bill Ashton Life story
William Michael Allingham Ashton OBE is a British saxophonist and composer, best known for co-founding the London Schools' Orchestra, now the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, of which he is Musical Director. Ashton was born in Blackpool, Lancashire.
