About Bidhannagar
Bidhannagar or Salt Lake is a city and a municipal corporation of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. It was developed between 1958 and 1965 to accommodate the burgeoning population of Kolkata.
