Benjamin Franklin Martin was a nineteenth-century politician, lawyer and teacher from Virginia and West Virginia. Born near Farmington, Virginia, Martin graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1854 and taught school in Fairmont, Virginia.
