José Benedicto Laso de la Vega y González-Quijano, más conocido como Benito Laso (Arequipa, 20 de mayo de 1783 - Lima, 13 de enero de 1862), fue un magistrado, periodista, poeta y político peruano. Fundador de la Independencia del Perú y representante del liberalismo autoritario.
