Benigno Gomez Life story
Benigno Gómez (b. 1934), Honduran painter and sculptor. Gómez is a native of the department of Santa Barbara, Honduras. His woodcarvings of doves won him a scholarship in 1950 to study at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Tegucigalpa, where he was strongly influenced by Max Euceda.
