Benedykt Chmielowski Life story
Benedykt Joachim Chmielowski was a Polish priest born presumably in Łuck. He wrote Nowe Ateny — the first Polish-language encyclopedia. It was first published in 1745-46; the second edition was supplemented between 1754 and 1764.
