Ibiza produces half a tonne of waste per person this year, which is 14% higher than in the rest of Europe.

According to the Ibiza Preservation Foundation, the double the amount per person is produced as Spain as a whole.

she says The Music industry is a great source of the waste, this is a particular problem on a small island Like Ibiza.

"In the summer we can play Every Day and the area can be huge. DJing is actually a really small part of it, really, we are just travelers. "

Blond: ish says that DJs often travel from island to island, from country to country, play sets, and calls for the industry to "small steps, such as a set-off against our Carbon ".

in order to help offset the Carbon emissions of your flight.

The Money is then invested in environmental projects such as planting trees or installing solar panels - reduction of Carbon dioxide in the air by the same amount.

But some activists of Carbon offsetting criticize as an excuse to continue to pollute the environment, and argues that it does little to change behavior.

Plastic often ends up in The Sea after the tourists leave The Island

"We celebrate In Paradise , and paradises sensitive ecosystems, which can not resist the life style of The City ," says Blond: ish.

Through her campaign group, Bye Bye Plastic , Blond: ish also an artist encouraged to go Plastic -free on your driver, the the food and drink, ask for the backstage area and in the DJ booth when they play.

free said: "Bye, Bye, Plastic Upgrade for our drivers to be single-Plastic . "She says it is a "small step", but if DJs, agents and clubbers all pitch in, it will eventually impact on the clubs.

But some of the clubs in Ibiza are already proactively combating environmental pollution.

the Legendary Night Club Pacha, The First club on the Ibiza Preservation Plastic -free-star-rating-system to The First star.

The scheme hopes to have the phase-out of single-use plastics in Ibiza until 2023, and rewards night clubs, the obligation to ban the use of plastics with an asterisk.

the chief executive, Nick Mccabe , says The Venue will be by More Than 400,000 Plastic straws, and a similar number of Plastic bottles on an annual basis.

Founded in the year 1973, Nick, says: "the Pacha is not so much The Island is Like sand and The Sea . "He says he hopes it will continue to develop with The Island .

He has already managed to eliminate, straws, Plastic Cutlery, Laundry bags and Plastic food containers, but Nick says, to find a solution to Plastic bottles is a challenge, from "a safety perspective".

He is The Star rating said system is an "interesting opportunity, feel it as it is a kind of reward for enterprise, the Board for what we anyway should do".

the tourists are always included, too.

Ed Pronc is Dutch, but holiday-making in Ibiza has been with his partner for years.

He was shocked in the creation of a "Plastic -picker "catamaran", after he and his partner went for a Ride On their boat, and finally a sea turtle trapped in Plastic .

Ed said, he was shocked to find a sea turtle caught in Plastic during the trip

"We leave," he said, "but then we noticed it was floating around a lot of Plastic . "

Now , Ed and his partner go with a helper to gather the team every single day trash.

After only an hour of picking, Ed says he can bottles in General, every type of Plastic imaginable, from Plastic food bags, cables, and ropes, razors, and toothbrushes.

He said, you will also find the "refrigerator doors sometimes".

"I know if we met The Right we provide 10, 20, 30 bags of plastics Every Day ," says Ed.

He notes that 130,000 people on The Island live here throughout the year, and you are sad, so how it is "abused".
