Basil Van Rooyen Life story
Basil van Rooyen is a former racing driver from South Africa. He participated in two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 1 January 1968. He retired from both, scoring no championship points. Van Rooyen later raced in saloons, notably participating in the 1977 Bathurst 1000, and Formula Atlantic.
