About Barzan, Charente-Maritime
Barzan is a commune in the Charente-Maritime department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of south-western France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as Barzanais or Barzanaises. The commune is the site of a major Gallo-Roman site of Barzan structured excavations carried out since 1994.
