Barboncito Life story
Barboncito was a famous Navajo political and spiritual leader. His name means bearded in Spanish. He also was known as Hástiin Dághá, Hastiin Daagi, Bistłahałání, and Hózhǫ́ǫ́jí Naatʼááh. Barboncito was born into the Ma'íí deeshgíízhiníí clan at Cañon de Chelly in 1820 and was a brother to Delgadito.
