After the 2016 election, CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash wondered what affect Hillary Clinton's loss might have on a female ever becoming president. Bash then realized that, despite Clinton's missed opportunity, there are plenty of women in Washington who are breaking barriers in a man's town, muscling their way into power and staying there. This series highlights Bash profiling seven women who represent both sides of the aisle, multiple cultural backgrounds and a range in career seniority. They include Lt. Gen. Nadja West, the first African-American female three-star general in the Army; California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, whose political career spans five decades; Nevada Sen.
