About Azospirillum Brasilense
Azospirillum brasilense is a well studied, nitrogen-fixing, genetically tractable, Gram-negative, alpha-proteobacterium bacterium. A. brasilense is able to fix nitrogen in the presence of low oxygen levels, making it a microaerobic diazotroph.
