Azar Andami Life story
Azar Andami was an Iranian physician and bacteriologist. Born in Rasht, Iran in 1926, she began her career as a teacher for the Ministry of Culture, but attended the University of Tehran and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 1959. At first she specialised in gynaecology.
