have pulled The creators of The Children 's book The Gruffalo , to practice their characters to help social distance for children to understand the rules.
author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler created the plates as a "light-hearted" way of spreading The Message .
they are with The Gruffalo , Stickman and The Smeds and Smoos - All to keep a safe distance from each other.
The characters are also seen to help the vulnerable with their shopping.
The Gruffalo was first published in 1999, and tells The Story of a mouse, take a walk in The Woods , where he smarts, a terrible creature with terrible teeth and a "posionous wart on the nose".
It went on to sell 13 million copies, and was turned into a stage play and an Oscar-nominated animation.
One of the new sketches shows The Gruffalo behind the mouse, accompanied by the couplet:
"Understood," said The Gruffalo to burst with Laughter / You go ahead, I'll have two meters to follow. "
"Axel had the idea of doing some funny sketches, each based on one of our books and any kind of inclusion of a tip over coronavirus," Donaldson told Bbc Breakfast on Friday.
Scheffler started The Process by saying to yourself, "what can I do as an illustrator?" in these troubled times.
"I am currently working on a digital-free non-fiction book about the coronavirus, the severe and informative, and probably even more important than this week and next week," He Said .
"[But] I wanted to Do Something light-hearted and cheer the people, and I thought, 'what if I imagine our characters in corona, situations?'"
"It's really more entertainment than serious information," he added.
as well As the social distance, the figures emphasise the importance of movement and makes video calls to your loved ones.
Donaldson hopes that the images emphasize best practices and help with home schooling, without being seen as "preaching".
While on lockdown, the author also produces a weekly broadcast, reads stories, poems, and sing songs.
