Augusta Frances Anne Hoare Life story
Augusta Frances Anne Hoare ('Gussy') was the only surviving child of Augusta Frances East and Sir Henry Ainslie Hoare, 5th Baronet, when she was painted by the artist in London. Frederic Leighton was a friend of her mother, whom he had painted two years earlier.
