Asad Ibn Al-Furat Life story
Asad ibn al-Furat was a jurist and theologian in Ifriqiya, who played an important role in the Muslim conquest of Sicily. His family, originally from Harran in Mesopotamia, emigrated with him to Ifriqiya.
