Home-security expert Emma Becker (Virginia Madsen) is a former artist who is in an unhappy marriage. Emma's appreciation of art and her sense of romance get reawakened, however, when she meets Bret Rogers (Rick Rossovich), the handsome owner of a local gallery. After they become involved, they devise a scheme to steal paintings from wealthy people who don't truly appreciate the art.
