Archibald Birkmyre Life story
Sir Archibald Birkmyre, 1st Baronet, CBE was a Scottish jute manufacturer and merchant in India. Birkmyre was born at Springbank House, in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, the son of manufacturer Henry Birkmyre and his wife, Margaret.
