The Aqueduct Bridge was a bridge between Georgetown, Washington, D. C. , and Rosslyn, Virginia. It was built to transport cargo-carrying boats on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal in Georgetown across the Potomac River to the Alexandria Canal.
